Alyson met DeeDee Draz Barreras at the Eugene, Oregon Fairy Festival in summer 2013. DeeDee is a freelance artist who grew up surrounded by Wisconsin fairies. Following a successful career in the entertainment industry that included a stint as a Walt Disney Imagineer and Disney park figure finisher, DeeDee now enjoys her favorite work, acrylic paint on canvas, in a style of illustrative portraiture fantasy art. Alyson was instantly enchanted with DeeDee’s fairy and dog prints. Her art is featured throughout the StarWalker and the Fairy Queen and this website.
